Sound task.

The clip shown here is from the film '71' and features english soldiers arriving in a heavily armoured convoy to a street in Belfast. There are many diegetic sounds in this clip including the sound of the convoy approaching the previously quiet street, the soldiers shouting and the sound of a car continuing to burn. The most significant sound heard in this clip is diegetic and is the sound of the women hitting the bin lids against the floor and this creates tension as the army were there for a reason and this suggests something, possibly violent is going to take place. This audience can also see this is significant and represents danger as the camera shows a close-up shot of the bin lids on the floor through some flames.The music heard playing in the background is non-diegetic and is parallel to whats going on as it also creates tension.
